Two New PhD Studentships
Date: 28 May 2022
After just a few weeks after its launch, The Cyber Academy offered its first two PhD studentships. These were built on several existing PhD students focused on Cyber Security, including Phil Penrose, whose work on digital fragments has been publishing the leading digital forensics journal, and which is progressing to a spin-out company.
Both posts examined advanced cyber security systems, and focused on analysing malware samples and digital fragments within Cloud-based infrastructures. The work also involved the collaboration of a number of key stakeholders, including law enforcement.
